The system maintains the vehicle speed as driver selected. With the camera detection, the system will automatically adjust the speed to keep a proper distance from the vehicle in front. When driving at a low speed, the system will adjust the speed according to the vehicle ahead, including automatic braking and stopping. The system will re-activate once the driver presses the button on the steering wheel or presses the accelerator pedal.
